New Tab Search UI (Ctrl + Shift + A) has changed - how to revert to previous behavior?
Since the latest Microsoft Edge update, the Tab Search panel opened with Ctrl + Shift + A has changed. It now opens on the side instead of in the center, and arrow key navigation no longer works. On...
I may have found the solution.
Open edge://flags, then search for the Tab Search Button flag, select disabled from the dropdown menu. Then restart. Ctrl + Shift + A should return to its previous appearance and behaviour before the update.

Bless your soul. So much easier to use this efficiently now -
1. Search open tabs (Ctrl + Shift +A)
2. Navigate to desired tab (up/down arrow keys)
3. Go to tab (Enter Key)
This workflow was completely messed up with the new update.
