New tab page not showing links or feeds
I have my new tab page set to Inspirational, and regardless of the mode I only see a background picture and the search bar - nothing else. Anyone else run into this?

Which Edge insider version and channel are you using?
there has been a new option added for some people for new tab page customization, do you have this?
- I'm on Edge Dev Version 79.0.279.0 - I do not see that on the new tab page or in the settings for the new tab area. I even tried changing it to custom and enabling shortcuts etc but still only the background and a searchbar regardless of what I select.
- Well try this:
go to the flags area: edge://flags/
and search for "NTP" , see if you get any results. there was previously a flag but it's removed from Canary that i'm using. but maybe it's still there for Dev
