new Edge for RDS Server 2016/2019
HotCakeX I think he want's to use the new Edge INSIDE the VDI, not for the portal website. This may work with IE, but many other websites the users want to visit are turning their backs on IE, so we need a diffrent browser like Edge. I assume he has the same needs as all others of us, writing in other threads like the one I linked above and where you already joined the conversation.

HotCakeX Yes, and in our case the OS of the VM is WinServer2019, where 10-15 users are working in the same VM. So not classical "1 user on 1 VM VDI", but "many user on 1 VM VDI" (VDI/TS/whatever). So that's why we need Edge on WinServer. But with the RegKey in this thread it runs on WinSrv2019: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Discussions/Edge-support-on-Server-OS/m-p/574383
But you already know, as you commented there as well. 😉
PS: As you seem quite fit with WinServer, do you have any hint for me using "Snip & Sketch" on WinServer? Details here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Windows-Server-for-IT-Pro/Snip-amp-Sketch-on-Windows-Server-2019/m-p/857215- HotCakeXSep 23, 2019MVP

Okay so both the guest and host OSes are Windows server 2019.
I've never encountered any errors or need for custom registry modification to run Edge insider on my Windows Server 2019. i'm currently virtualizing 3 of them on Hyper-V that is on Windows 10 insider fast ring build 18985 (my main Host)
Windows server 2019 fully updated and virtualized + Edge insider Canary latest version.
Edge has no problem running either on normal Windows server 2019 or virtualized Windows server 2019.
I've also installed it on Windows server 2019 data center edition as well as Windows server vNext edition (Insider) core edition.
