New "Discover" button changes setting without my consent
Hi there,
I do not always like the new features in Edge, as they are often pushed to the user without any possibility to configure or disable it. Same applies for the Math stuff, the "Games" menu entry, the "Web capture"/"Web select" stuff, but the new sidebar and "Discover" function are even worse: They change your previously made settings without noticing or even asking.
Follow this guide to reproduce the problem:
- Disable sidebar in settings ("Always show sidebar").
- Mouse over the "Discover" button (worst user experience ever)
- In the settings the option "Always show sidebar" is enabled again
Sorry, but this should not happen. IMHO by disabling the option "Always show sidebar" in the settings menu the "Discover" button should also disappear.

- I completely agree, this button should be able to be removed. In the stable builds it is built into the side bar, this should be where it stays. Absolutely crazy they are moving that to the main tool bar AND that it has taken the place of the menu button. Please put this button back in the sidebar with the ability to be removed
