Need to run Dynamics 365 Applications

Dynamics 365 has a series of applications (mostly around workflow and financial reporting) that need to be executed from the browser but run on the local machine.  IE and the existing edge browser allow for running these programs, but chromium edge acts exactly like chrome - it downloads the manifest file, which can't properly run the program.  This will need to be handled before the browser is truly ready for production.
