Yeah, Edge has all these problems! I recommend you should check your network, and make sure it's working.
I recommend that Microsoft should fix the issue, this is particularly annoying downloading exports from Purview which are often too large for the C: (OS Drive). Yes, I could move my user profile to another drive but I shouldn't need to if the product worked properly.
