Microsoft Edge pdf Adding text with arabic letters disappear
- Hey there, I'm back with an update! Arabic is not currently a supported language in the Add Text feature (sorry for not catching that before asking a bunch of extra questions!)
The team is looking to increase the language support for Add Text and I made sure they knew we have an interest here for Arabic, but no current updates on when the supported languages might change. Sorry I don't have an immediate fix for this!

Hi. I've recently come across this problem and I have to say for Microsoft to have this type of problem and not fixing it after three years is embarrassing. the fact that I can type in my country's alphabet but cant see them is crazy. and it's very essential too for my daily college usage. so please fix this.
This problem still happens until now !! it's a very annoying problem.
is there any solution ??

Alexandra-R it has been three years since your replying that the company will try to support the arabic language and no thing happened !! please do any thing about it .. the middle east is an huge number of windows users and there is no support for there mother language in the add text feature in edge pdf !! and most of the middle east are youths ((students)) so we really need to solve this problem very soon .
"I do not believe that the problem is because of lack of support, as I used a computer with the same specifications a week ago and had no issues writing in Arabic. I could write without anything disappearing, even in Edge or the Element PDF application. However, my current device is facing this problem with both applications. Additionally, the easy answer of lack of support seems unlikely, as the previous device worked without any issues. There must be another reason for this problem, and I hope to find a solution. - My Dear, I think you have missed that we are talking here only Arabic wirting, there is no issue at alla for English typing.
Alexandra-R Same issue with cyrillic symbols.
- we are in 2023 and its still not supporting arabic
- I add a replay here because I want to use the Arabic language for ADD Text!, which is an essential study tool.

there is same issue for persian letter. The text disappears when I click on the page
Edge is the best Pdf editor and I dont want to replace it at all.
please fix it
thank you - Please add other languages like Persian. I think edge pdf reader is the best and fastest one for reading and editing pdfs but I can not use that just because it does not support my language.
