Microsoft Edge loads Home Page (Google) VERY slowly

Using Microsoft Edge beta on Win11 beta. For a while now, any time I load Home Page (Google) or load Google from the search bar, it loads VERY slowly. Is Edge throttling Google? It's getting irritating.
