Yeah well all that initial propaganda of being a lightweight chromium-based browser was just the strategy to get us engaged with the development. Now, as you mentioned we are stuck with a ad-based browser with 50% of features nobody uses and are just there to sell us unnecessary stuff. At this point, is just better to use chrome, at least is stable, better optimized and even consumes less resources than edge.
- Yeah, typical Microsoft movement. But it surprised me that chrome actually consumes fewer resources than edge, back then people keep saying chrome is a memory hog, but it does seem like the case anymore, at least based on my usage.
