Microsoft Edge - I don't want it!!!!!!

Since the last update, whereby Edge was updated there has been a severe lack of response in my computer, and forget playing my games. I have a top of the line gaming computer and my fps now maxes out at 24..... Edge is the problem, How do I get rid of it. I have reset the computer but it automatically incorporated the edge so same issue. 

Help please, I am soooooooo angry that this is being forced ... I don'[t want to change to Edge, I like Google Chrome.
