Microsoft Edge -- open a new tab in

I use also MS Windows 11. And I have this issue too. When I click on the [+] for a new tab, MS Edge will close. When I use a link what opens a new tab, That will work,
I don't think I did anything, but it seems to be working fine again. What I have done that might be the solution is drag a tab I have open so I get a new amplifier.
