microphone will not trun on on my pc computer

in Edge browser, make sure this option is turned on: edge://settings/content/microphone

This post should be posted in the Windows 10 community and not in the Microsoft Edge Insider Community as this problem seems to be OS related and not browser-related and there are chances of getting this problem solved there than here.
