Manifest V3 Update Started

I came across some noteworthy news about Google's upcoming Manifest V3, set to replace the current Manifest V2 for browser extensions.

Simkl which is a tracking site for Movies, TV Shows, Anime. Recently updated and highlighted this change in an email.

I’m keen to know how Microsoft Edge plans to handle this transition.

 

  • Are there any updates or guidelines being rolled out to ensure our extensions remain compatible?

    JoJoHalter I think those extension, which recently got updated from v2 to v3, need to be manually reinstalled from the browser store.
