Macintosh Edge Version 103.0.1264.77 (Official build) (arm64) credentials not remembered

Running Edge on M1 MB Air, credentials for numerous web sites often not remembered. Especially Gmail and Apple. Is this a more widespread issue? Many other sites, including Wordpress work fine. I find it irritating and not clear why this continues.
