Mac Big Sur Dock Notification Badge?

I've been trying out Edge and I am getting a notification badge on the Edge icon in the dock, no idea what the notification is for/about, no apparent way to see what it's about. Googled trying to find out about it but no luck. Tried to find something in the settings but couldn't. Also, whenever I try to search in the settings search box as soon as I type a character in it, it instantly just opens a blank page.
