Linux Edge crashes when using the Web Speech Recognition API

Hello community. 

Using the Web Speech Recognition API works great in Edge (Windows), however, when you attempt to use the API in the Linux variant (edge-stable), the browser crashes; conversely, using the Bing voice search works, what's happening? 
Version 116.0.1938.54

    Bing search uses server-side speech recognitino. Web Speech Recognition API is a browser-side feature.
    Hope they add support for Linux soon.
    The API is implemented but crashes when trying to use it. Might need a backend service to be installed/enabled
