Latest release of Edge crashes

The problem seems to be with the profile, because it's possible to launch with a new profile and not have it crash immediately. To try this, run

"%localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge SxS\Application\msedge.exe" --profile-directory=Rescue

(or any other not-previously-used profile directory name instead of Rescue). 
[Then take careful note of what you were doing immediately before it crashes again if it does 😉 ]
