Latest Edge Dev immediately closes on start.
Edge Window blinks and the browser closes in less then a second. Is there any way I can start in a safe mode? May be more detailed logs? Here's what I get from the event log: Fault bucket 13968453...
- Jun 07, 2019The browser does not close itself when using a new profile. However, when I switch back to my existing "User Data" folder the issue persists.

I actually managed to fix it. Go to your Edge profile folder, rename it to something else. Start the browser. This time it should not crash. Close the browser. Delete the profile folder that was created. Rename the original folder with profile back. Start the browser again. Works!

- jzemlaJun 07, 2019Copper ContributorSo I renamed the "Default" folder in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Edge Dev\User Data" and started the browser. No crash, but also none of my favs/extensions/etc. Closed out and removed the newly-created Default folder, renamed the original Default folder and no crash! All my stuff is back, with the exception of as sync error which I resolved by signing out & back in again.
Thanks elastep!
