Join by joaoapps Extension

Wondering if anyone with a higher knowledge of programming than I, and is familiar with what's keeping it from working, knows if there's any way this extension will ever work with Edge? I want to switch to Edge, but that's the only thing keeping me from switching. The fact that it monitors my clipboard and automatically makes anything I copy on either my phone or my laptop immediately available on the other is invaluable to me at this time.
