Is there a plan to put in a preview of a tab when you hover over it

In Google Chrome - I use Canary of Google Chrome, so I have no idea if it is in regular version -, there is a feature that, when you hover over a tab with your cursor, it shows you the page in a little box underneath it (yeah, I know it sounds confusing, there is no good way to describe it so here an image).

 

I think it's a nice little feature, so I was wondering if it was gonna come to Microsoft Edge?

    Hi there, you are welcome to the Microsoft Edge Insider Community Hub!

    The tab preview feature which was originally there in Legacy Microsoft Edge since 2015 will be brought back to chromium Edge in the future. It is in the status of "In Discussion" according to latest top feedback summary so we should see this feature coming in the near future.
