Is Edge workspaces feature still in development?

I think it's been a year since this feature was introduced but I never really heard about it again. Lastly the command flag to use this feature also removed. Is this feature still in development or canceled/delayed? I hope it isn't because I really liked the idea and for a company like Microsoft which productivity is one of their main focus areas, this feature really would match that. With a combination of Microsoft 365 that is a really neat feature.
