IOS15 - Edge browser does not sync any more to MS account

Device:  iPad pro 2021  iOS15

Browser: latest Edge browser 93.0.961.57

With iOS V 14.7.1 sync (bookmarks... passwords..) with MS account was working fine in the edge browser. 

BUT since update to iOS15 sync always is showing  "Syncronisierung wird eingerichtet.." (sync is getting comissioned.)   

Sync-internals is showing "Waiting for sync url"

Same issue is on iPhone 8 with IOS15

-> is that a known issue ?
