Intrusive vidio downloads

When are we going to get the ability to block vidio/audio downloads (especially on news sites). Regular Edge got this quite awhile ago.

    Regular Edge blocks downloading video and audio? o.O
    so when you try to download musics it blocks it? if that's the case then it's more of a problem than a feature. !

      No. You can just have things set such that they don't run automatically.

    Yes, Al, being able to prevent auto-play is a good thing.  But, you hit on something with, "Edge got this quite awhile ago".  There are a few things Edge received quite awhile ago. A number of things, although, it feels like long ago, were not there at the onset.  What I hope & it's what we are given to understand, is that all the items we like, want & NOW, take for granted in Edge, will be in Edge C at the time of release. This would be nicer than seeing those features showing up piecemeal after release, again.  Edge is complete, now.  Be nice to see a similarly complete Edgium at its release 🤞. It has been suggested all will be there by then.
