Also, why Copilot, when that names is used by the GitHub service of the same name?

Also, why Copilot, when that names is used by the GitHub service of the same name?The AI in Microsoft products such as Microsoft 365, GitHub, Windows (coming soon) and others is called Copilot, so it makes sense for AI in Edge to be called the same too. Eventually I think all of the AIs will be called copilot.
- Well, Github Copilot sets the expectation for a developer tool. While Edge Copilot CAN (and quite well) be used to help with programing, it's NOT Github Copilot.
I still think MS should give more thought to its branding. For example, so you want to bet me 5 Euro that in two years Microsoft 365 will be renamed (again) to something even more vague?
Anyway, I'd like to love MS products, but sometimes its rellyu hard 😄

The word copilot is not associated with programming and developers. Copilot is the umbrella term for the AI in Microsoft products, it's consistent.
Office 365 rename to Microsoft 365 makes a lot of sense and is also consistent, majority of people don't go to offices anymore, they work remotely, and calling it Office 365 sounded like something to be used mainly in offices and/or by certain individuals only, but Microsoft 365 products are for everyone, I've been using them since I was very young, and I didn't work at any office.
So, Microsoft 365 copilot is the AI in M365 products. GitHub copilot is the AI in GitHub and related products. Edge Copilot is the AI in Edge browser. Windows Copilot is the AI in Windows. It's very consistent and easy to comprehend.
