Inking on Web Pages - Discussion
Elliot Kirk My use cases primarily were research (highlighting, annotations) about certain topics, live drawing on pages to explain stuff and marking/annotating stuff so others could see it.
Sharing:
- as pdf per mail, messenger (best using the people App)
- per link, so other people still can edit it
Saving: as pdf and OneNote
Maybe integrate it with the new collections feature (which I admittedly haven't really used yeat)
What I definitively missed was the option of generating pdfs with a high quality.
Though I could use OneNote for that, it resulted - as far as I can remember - in bad quality.
Further, I would like to have a more direct experience with the webpage -> allow a more seemlinglessly use during browsing, and prevent creating annotations to one webpage multiple times (at least add a option to open the the previous annotations; sometimes, though, it might be desired to have multiple annotation versions)
Additionally, I would like to have the annotations synced.
Lastly, in the old version of Edge, sometimes the generated copy of the page was messed up (although looking fine when viewing the webpage)
The inking experience should be as close as possible to OneNote and also be possible with fingers. The option to add stuff using keyboard and mouse should also be there (for continuing research and editing on the computer).
Thanks for considering!
I would be looking forward to having this again (a little better).
