I like the new simple UI

Hi,

just my two cents, I really like the new lightweight UI used in the Dev version of Edge!

 

I was never fan of those additional Edge features like Tab preview, Set aside, Ink or Sharing right in the top bar, too many buttons for me. I can imagine some users used those features, but for me the new lightweight design is what I like.  

If you plan to return these features into the new Edge as well, please, make it possible to turn off those features, possibly using settings or Flags. Less is sometimes more.

    Thank you for the feedback and feature suggestion.  I will do what I can to see that gets to the product team.

      Hi!

      This would be a big step back. 

      Because some people are too simple, and they not use any function, if possible don't go back to prehistoric times.

        I believe OP is asking that extra features can be disabled by the user. I think the choice is great.

         

        If some people want first-party features vs more extensions, that's great. If some people want leaner browsers vs "bloated", that's great, too.
