How to stop Edge from opening new tabs when clicking

This is so **bleep** annoying! It's also opening new tabs in Chrome and Mozilla. I tried going to bing.com to uncheck the two check marked for opening a new tab but it's still opening a new tab everytime I click something. Any help is greatly appreciated.
