How does Edge on Windows pick which window to open a link?

Lets say I have the Twitter app opened as a PWA, and I click on a Twitter link in my email. Edge opens a new browser window with the Twitter tab :-(.


Does Edge have a feature which would open the link as a tab in the Twitter PWA window?
I was messing with "" and hoping that did it. Is this a new feature request?

    Hi shivbijlani-ms, 

     

    If you're using a desktop email client, enter edge://flags in the address bar > Enable #edge-webapp-link-handling > Restart the browser and test if the Twitter link now opens in the PWA. If you're checking your email through a website on MS Edge, it seems you'll need to right click the link and select the option to open PWA.
