How do you disable "Trending now" in the Edge search bar
Apologies for failing the first question -Select a Board - I don't know where this goes.
I have asked "How do you disable "Trending now" in the Edge search bar" of the MS Community Forum (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftedge/forum/msedge_search-msedge_win11/how-do-you-disable-trending-now-in-edge-search-bar/b0c704ec-8d54-4497-a368-6f49c128927a?messageId=78c3f0ca-4457-4de7-b2e6-0fd31bcd4b0f&page=1) and it has stumped the group.
I've turned off most everything that I thought might do it as well as followed all the suggestions in the above forum with no luck.
I realize someone worked hard at building the Trending Now lists but with respect, there are a bunch of us out here that would love to turn it off.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Jon_Hill,
I found it's possible to do this by disabling the See search suggestions as you type feature in the bing.com settings menu. However, doing this will also disable all search suggestions. If you'd like to go this route, navigate to bing.com > Look to the top right of the page and select the ☰ icon > Select the Settings dropdown > More > Uncheck the See search suggestions as you type box > Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Save.
Also, I recommend submitting feedback to the Bing team, asking for a standalone option to disable trending searches. On the bing.com page select the ☰ and you'll see a feedback option there.
- Jon_HillCopper ContributorThanks, Jeremiah, but that only works in Bing. As far as I can tell it has no effect in Edge. I found the Help and feedback in Edge. I'll try there and maybe it'll get to the Edge Team.
