How do we turn iff the aliasing of URLs

This is a security issue. For instance if I copy and paste the URL for this page:

(1) New Message - Microsoft Tech Community

It does not show the actual URL. Clicking it could lead you anywhere! At the very least, users should be able to turn this feature (??) off.
