How do I get Edge to remember the password for password protected sites?

There's some sites that we have added an extra layer or security to so a username and password is required to access the site. When accessing the site on edge, there is no way to save /remember this password.

However, I noticed on safari that I am allowed to remember the password. Is this possible to enable in edge somehow?
