How can I debug extremely slow loading for some pages?
<Edited> A good example of a website that takes ages to load: https://www.roguelynn.com/words/asyncio-profiling/. * I tried disabling all extensions to no avail. * It works fast in the first Priva...
- Apr 01, 2021OK, I tried it with a North American VPN and it works fine now. So I guess this website has some prejudice against South American Edge users ヽ( ̄~ ̄ )ノ

Hi,
it loaded pretty fast for me on Edge version 91.0.838.3 (Official build) dev (64-bit)
you can press F12 to open the developer tools, then navigate to Network tab, reload the website, see which connection or resource is taking longer to load.
you've tried disabling your extensions, what if you clear browser cache?
edge://settings/clearBrowserData
and then set flags to their default values (if you changed any of them):
edge://flags/
then you can try resetting Edge settings:
edge://settings/reset
hopefully one of them solves your issue.

- teresaejuniorApr 01, 2021Brass Contributor* I had already tried the Network tab, shows nothing, nothing even starts loading.
* I deleted the microsoft-edge-dev directory temporarily, and with the default setup I still have problems. The interesting thing is I can load a page from that website just once with a clean profile (or a private tab) - after that, clicking on any link from there won't load.
* I tried changing the DNS settings at edge://settings/privacy with no success.
* I tried setting my system-wide DNS to back to the ISP's, no success.
* I tried restarting the cable modem.
* I tried it in both Edge 91.0.838.3 on Linux, and 89.0.774.57 in my Windows 10 machine. Both have this issue.
* Brave on Linux works fine. Chrome on Windows works fine too.
So I yes, that's unfortunately an Edge issue.- teresaejuniorApr 01, 2021Brass ContributorOK, I tried it with a North American VPN and it works fine now. So I guess this website has some prejudice against South American Edge users ヽ( ̄~ ̄ )ノ
