Highlight the entire URL when the Start Page is set to about:blank

When the Start page is set to about:blank, the cursor is placed at the URL bar, but in edit mode at the start of the URL. So if I begin typing, my typed characters just get inserted before the text ‘about:blank’. So, please set the behavior to highlight the entire URL (about:blank) when the Start Page is set to about:blank so that a user can then begin typing their address/search query.
