Google Chrome 83.0.4103.61 has been released to the Stable channel, when will Microsoft Edge follow?
Hi everyone,
The title says it all: Google Chrome 83.0.4103.61 has been released to the Stable channel, when will Microsoft Edge follow?
Just curious, I do have some rendering problems in Microsoft Edge 81.0.416.77, which are not present in Microsoft Edge Beta 83.x.x.x.
Best regards,
Dennis.

Microsoft Edge 83.0.478.37 is now available. With Family Safety as a new feature.

Kimo2020 Yes! But still a disappointment 😥
The rendering problem that wasn't present in Edge Beta 83.x.x.x is present in Edge Stable 83.0.478.37. As it was in Edge Stable 81.x.x.x, but not in Google Chrome Stable 81/83
Update: clearing the browser cache solved the problem. It would be nice if I knew how to clear the browser cache/data for a specific domain.

dmutsaers Thanks for reaching out. Kimo2020 is correct; if there is a security-related fix that makes its way into the Chromium Project code, then Microsoft Edge will integrate those security updates quickly. Past that, we don't have an official release timeline to share right now.

The new version of Chrome (83.0.4103.61) has 36 Security Fixes, which means Microsoft will take 2 days for launching the new version.
