Dennis5mile  Another interesting recent Microsoft document is a slideshow by Christian Fortini , (part of the Edge development team) titled https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?resid=40AD2A59FD334E8C!400130&ithint=file%2cpptx&authkey=!ADAerq8JH6E4yRA.  The slideshow gives some insight into Microsoft's plan for contributing to the Chromium project and into Microsoft's plan to develop Edge Chromium beyond the Chromium platform.

A slide that I found particularly interesting summarizes power/performance issues:

Notice how much Edge Chromium lags in terms of power conservation compared to Edge Classic.  That's something I hope that Microsoft can figure out ways to solve.
