[Fixed] Certain hints and alerts do not display in Edge Dev

Hints similar to this one do not show in Edge Dev Version 78.0.268.3

The problem manifest itself on multiple sites, for example AirBnB inline alerts and Sharepoint popup dialogs.

 

Funny thing is, this works as expected in Edge Canary. How come Dev is broken while Canary not?

    Hi,
    The reason why Canary is not broken is because Canary always has the most recent version of the Edge insider and that means more bug fixes and patches.
