(Feature Request) Snap and Flatpak Possibility for Microsoft Edge

dtantono115  At present Microsoft officially supports only Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and openSUSE distros.  Edge-Linux is not available for Arch-based distros or independents like Solus and Intel's Clear Linux.  That follows Microsoft's pattern with WSL, and it is anybody's guess whether Microsoft intends to expand Edge-Linux support beyond the Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and openSUSE corporate/enterprise base.

A Microsoft team member is reported to have said in a December podcast that support will be extended to additional distros after Stable is released, but Microsoft has given no timetable.  Many of us are hoping that Microsoft will issue a Snap or Flatpak version, but no one outside Microsoft has any reliable information about when or whether that will happen.
