Hi yomyan112, you can already save images as your background image for your desktop. It just takes a couple steps to do it,
step one,(1)
Right click an image and choose "save image as".
step two,(2)
Select to create a new folder to place the saved image in or select an already existing folder and save the image,
step three,(3)
Right click on your desktop background and choose "Personalize"
step four,(4)
Click "background",
step five,(5)
At the top of the window that comes up, it says "Personalize your Background"
on the right side of the screen is a drop-down selection box. click it and choose picture.
step six(6)
Below that box is another box that says "Choose a photo" with a browse photos button on the right. Click and find your saved photo.
Select it and it will add your picture/photo to a recent images list. Click your image/photo and that should be your background desktop picture.
Done, you now have the photo/picture you want as your background. I know this works because it is what I do.
Hope this helps and yes, I know it is a few steps, but really, they are easy steps and fast to do.

Hi, I would LOVE for this to be in the next update! Please!
Any chance on an update if it will be included or not? I can see the original post was from 2019.... - Anonymous
tomyan112 Thanks for the suggestion! I'll pass that on to the right feature team.
