Feature Request - Tile Tabs / Tiling Tabs feature from Vivaldi browser
HotCakeXThank you. I do use Edge to test out its new features every week and for some other things. It's good to know about the search. I'm sure they can expand it.
I truly hope they can add another field for search like Firefox, next to the address bar on top.
- HotCakeXFeb 08, 2021MVPin my experiments on Edge canary builds, I'm seeing lots of new features that are still part of controlled rollouts, but they are amazing.
I try to share about them on the forum but the speed of development is amazing. - Davy49Feb 08, 2021Iron Contributor
HotCakeX , Edge seems to keep improving with each release, I still don't have what I would consider any browser that I would classify as my 'favorite' browser. I still like skipping around to the one's that I have currently installed & see how they change/improve different features. However, I MUST quickly state that chromium edge has really shown major improvements, & they do in fact seem to actively listen to the input provided by their user's. I'm just hoping that in the very near future that we'll actually be able to add a additional quantity of our 'top sites' the the new tab page. I keep seeing where it's scheduled for sometime this month, I've tried some different alternative new tab site extension's..etc. but for some reason most of them for one reason or another just didn't seem to appeal to me. I hope that everyone is staying safe & well.

- HotCakeXFeb 06, 2021MVPYou can do all that on the Edge's omnibox too. to keep text for later simply copy it and it will stay in Windows clipboard, which also supports sync.
there is Sticky notes too in Windows 10 or web, which also supports sync.
the Omnibox on Edge supports multiple search engines.
I use Bing by default but if i want to use Google then I type "g" or "go" and tap enter, then start using Google.
the same applies to other search engines too. - RamouzFeb 06, 2021Brass ContributorI love the small search field. I can enter text there and leave it for later. Helps me a lot while working. I can enter text, it pops up search results, I can click on other search engines to have it search those engines if I want more results. I enter text and press enter and it opens the search in a new tab always since I have it set like that.
