Favorites Icons

Comcast just did an upgrade in my area and ever since, my "Favorites" icons on AOL and Edge are Globes and not the individual icons they once were. Not sure why it happened, but how do get them back?...

It's interesting this issue occurred after a Comcast update in your area. The fact that this happens in both Edge and AOL could mean something broader than just your favicons but let's try resetting those first:

  1. Close Edge
  2. In File Explorer, navigate to %localappdata%\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default
  3. Delete the files called Favicons, Favicons-journal, and Favicons-wal.
  4. Re-open Edge, navigate to a favorite site and see if your icon is restored. 

If that doesn't help, let me know if this issue is happening to all your favorites or just a few of them and we can troubleshoot further.
