Favorites Bar vs. Mobile Favorites

Why have I ended up with 2 duplicating sets of favorites, one coming from my Android phone new Edge and one from the Windows PC.  So I see Favorites Bar and Mobile Favorites now that are duplicates.  Is there a way to have just one Favorites for both phone and PC?  I see no easy way to manually merge those as I am not able to just copy the favorites from PC to Mobile and vice versa.

    Foghorn I came here to make the same complaint. Sorry to see this design flaw has been ignored so far (except for three of us). I believe this legacy behavior is a carry-over from Chromium. Separate Mobile favorites is one of the things I never liked about Chrome.

     

    It was a necessary evil in the days before browsers synced favorites across all platforms. Now it's just sloppy—creating duplicates for no good reason.
