You can try this:
Type edge://flags on Edge address bar
Search for "Show Workspace Favorites in Favorites Bar" > Set to Enabled
Restart Edge
The flag "Show Workspace Favorites in Favorites Bar" doesn't exist anymore in Edge 139.0:
Current release crashes Edge completely if you click on a workspace subfolder w/this flag on 😢
