Facebook plugin problem

I've found a couple news sites where you can comment on the articles or like peoples responses.  They use a Facebook plugin.  It will not work for me in the new Chromium Edge.  It works fine in the old Edge.  I also tried inPrivate mode and it still didn't work.  A popup appears for a few seconds like it authenticating with Facebook or something but then that goes away and nothing actually happens.  Any ideas?

    jrbuch did you try switching Tracking Prevention to Balanced mode? If set to strict, it may be blocking the plugin.
