'Extensions' toolbar button

It's an old trick (+1 years)

do these steps precisely

  1. Turn off startup boost: edge://settings/system
  2. make sure Edge is closed
  3. right-click on Edge shortcut on desktop, go to properties
  4. paste this at the end of "Target" area: "--enable-features=ExtensionsToolbarMenu" (without the quotes)
  5. click Apply
  6. click OK
  7. launch Edge using the same desktop shortcut

 

It works on Edge canary, should work on Dev too.

      add a space between msedge.exe and --enable-feature

      this is how it should look like (from canary)
      "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge SxS\Application\msedge.exe" --enable-features=ExtensionsToolbarMenu
