ERR_SSL_PINNED_KEY_NOT_IN_CERT_CHAIN breaks sync and translation in Canary

Since last week, canary is broken due to an SSL issue.  Both sync and the translation feature fail with ERR_SSL_PINNED_KEY_NOT_IN_CERT_CHAIN.  It's serious enough I would have expected a quick fix.  ...
