GPO policy helped (Windows Hello For HTTP Auth Enabled set to Disabled). But it seems too big a hassle.

      Now I've got a standard browse login form and it remembers the password. So, I don't have to input my credentials all the time

        Well, that's configured for the domain, and GP Results indicates it's applied to the machine I am on, and it's not working.
