Edge Version 89.0.774.54 (Official build) (64-bit).

Where are favorites stored in this version?

Also, this version changed all my internet desktop shortcut icons to Edge's default icon.  How can I get my original shortcut icons  back?

    Hi,

    favorites in Edge stable channel are stored in this file:

     

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Bookmarks

     

    please replace Username with your own Windows username.

     

    you can also open that file with Notepad to view the. (although I don't recommend changing anything in that file as it can corrupt the syntax).

     

    about your shortcuts, I suggest creating them again. you can also press Edge's (...) button => More Tools => Launch taskbar Wizard to pin them to Taskbar, or install sites as an app which provide shortcut for Start menu, Taskbar and Desktop.
