Edge selecting non-default printer

Windows 10/64 pro v21H2. We have two printers listed, the same HP Envy printer wifi, & with usb cable.  The former is the default, explicitly defined with static IP address.  Cable is not usually connected.

Edge without fail will always try to use the latter, and so fails when printing directly from Edge.  Irrespective of the file type, it will select the disconnected printer & fail.

2 Workarounds which work: 1. download file and print from Downloads folder, or 2. Use another browser

I haven't been able to find a fiox for this issue.
