Edge problem when displaying election results

Hi there, I have a question. I use microsoft edge internet on my surface laptop. When I go to this site (https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/11/08/us/elections/results-senate.html?action=click&pgtype=Article&state=default&module=election-results&context=election_recirc&region=NavBar), certain features do not work. For example, when I use my phone, I can hover over the maps to see the percentages etc. but here it seems that functionality is disabled. How do I fix this?
