Edge PDF editor text dissapearing

When i add text to my PDF in Edge, just to add notes to it, once i click outside of my current text box to add text elsewhere, the text i just added disappears, but i can still see the text if i go into the print preview section.

I have tried a bunch of stuff to resolve the issue that i have found online but nothing has worked so far.

Any help would be appreciated.
